Being with You.

I used to be a being so kind,

In heart, soul and in mind.

Used to be so amiable,

And assisted in every way I was able.

Irrespective of the good or bad I was subjected upon,

I would always show optimism and move on.

Eventually, after being through consistent rejection,

Was replaced and unacknowledged;

I realised the reality of Newton's third law:

'Every action has equal and opposite reaction'.

Now, you are good to me, I'm better.

You exert negligence, I'm worse.

But after having met you, I'm becoming better,

The old me which I always savour.
